One of the most effective communication skill is your self confidence. Self confidence is a communication skill we can not pretend to have. Properly learning your trade and information you are to use in business will allow you to be confident when you speak to prospects.
There are many excellent salesperson out there, but the truly confident ones have one thing in common. They tell the truth...Learn how to sell with confidence by telling the truth to your prospects. You can easily tell the truth by knowing your product.
When people have low self esteem and low confidence they tend to lye and cheat to get ahead. There is no place for real winners. People are too smart and you will cost yourself too much money. Building your self confidence is also about working with integrity and pride.

A person that is well groomed and friendly will be given an opportunity to
be heard. But if your doing business over the phone you must sound as
pleasant and helpful as possible all it takes is the wrong tone to be
dismissed.
When you know your product thoroughly your prospect will know and feel
your self confidence and they will eventually have confidence in you. However
if you begin to bash another competitor or product you would have ruined all
you work and lose the deal.

Confidence is very important. If you are a sales person this is what you should learn to master. Showing lack of confidence will make prospects think twice about negotiating with you.
